Target instituted its price matching policy in 2011 and the retailer prolonged its policy four years later to include 29 retailers, including Amazon. For additional saving opportunities, you can take advantage of Target’s digital savings program, Cartwheel. The app provides additional sales on certain items as well as personalized coupons. During previous holidays, Cartwheel offered time-sensitive deals with 30-50% off specific items.

Target REDcard Black Friday Perks

There is a different way to save money at Target during Black Friday and the holidays. Starting in 2013, customers with a Target REDcard had access to 20 Black Friday deals a few hours before everyone else. REDcard holders also received free shipping and an additional 5% off their purchases online and in-store.
